The ratings will do the final talking, and Air America is really starting to take off. I hate how the media always trots out Franken as the voice of liberal radio though. His show isn't nearly the best that AAR has to offer.

at least now they know there IS such a thing as liberal radio. Getting people to know who you are is a huge part of the fight.

Persoanlly, I like all of AAR, tough break for me is I have it on XM and they have that jacknuts Alan Colmes in place of MIke Malloy. They have started to carry Mike Malloy late at night however; but oooofff, that Colmes crater in the schdule....damn.

Colmes is a weed and Malloy is a redwood. Any liberal that works for Fox News is not worth the time of day in my opinion. If he really cared about the liberal cause, he would have left Fox long ago.

My brother and I have my mom hooked on AAR, and she can pick it up on her radio headphones. Can you believe she loves to listen to Mike as she falls asleep. How cool is that?

6. Yoou are right. there are many, many more shows than that article

mentioned. I think that each one matches different tastes. I enjoy each for different reasons. There are others who put in a lot of time and work who never seem to get mentioned.

12. I listened to Kaplan about a week ago

and was amazed at how good his show has gotten. I tuned into it during the early days of Air America but was never very impressed. But he has gotten a lot, lot better. Air America really is starting to grow up. I like Franken's show but he needs to start hiring some writers to help him with his comedy skits. Sometimes he makes me laugh hard, other times I just crack a smile, and then there are other times that I'm downright embarrassed for him. He's a funny guy overall but one man can't continue to write three hours of comedy five days a week. He needs some help. Hopefully when AAR really starts to turn a hefty profit they'll be able to start hiring some sharp talent, in addition to what they already have.

Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy are both too awesome for words.

I noticed that when I was listening to Randi Rhodes earlier, a lot of freeper calls were getting through, and she was using facts and logic to slam them to the ground without working up a sweat.

I used to listen to Howard Stern a lot, and I listened on my walkman to AAR all day for the whole first week it came out. That's about it. Don't have time for too much "linear" and one-way verbiage - too spoiled by HTML and interactivity I guess.
