Ever wonder why bushCartel & the rightwingnuts attacked ONLY FRANCE
for not supporting bush's immoral unjust illegal supreme crime war of aggression?

Why screech and insult and denigrate and rage only against FRANCE, when 162 nations said HELL NO?

http://www.ips-dc.org/coerced.htm

Why only France? Because they wanted Americans to think exactly what the majority of Americans DID think; that the world supported bush's invasion EXCEPT for FRANCE.

Distraction; a favored bushCartel ploy. Concentrate on those cheese-eating surrender monkeys, and the incredibly stupid Americans won't notice there's another 161 nations, JUST LIKE FRANCE, opposed to invading a nation that hadn't been doing anything to anyone.

Because even stupid Americans might think twice about waging a war when 162 nations that comprise 97% of the entire world's population oppose. Might be hard to feel like a Virtuous Moral American Knight On White Steed To The Rescue in that case. Might even have made Americans start questioning the bushCartel.

Of course being total rubes and stupid, the rightwingers fell for it. The majority of rightwingnuts STILL think the majority of the world supported bush's invasion:

PIPA Survey:

Despite a steady flow over the past year of official statements by foreign governments and public-opinion polls showing strong opposition to the Iraq war, 59 percent of the public believed that world public opinion either favored Washington going to war (21 percent) or believed that global views were ''evenly balanced'' (38 percent).

Only 41 percent appeared aware that a majority of world public opinion opposed the U.S.-led war.

Amazing how well bush's lies work on rightwing America.

2. They knew just what they were doing
They knew that France is not the most loved especially by the rightwingers. It was no mistake and that's why when they say that they didn't know about that there would be 'insurgents' that is a lie too. They had to know just what they were going in to. Hell we did and many others. They just wanted to get in there.

3. Most freepers also don't know that...
France is currently under a conservative government. They think it's a "socialist" nation.

5. Why France?
Maybe because France was investigating Haliburton's bribery in Nigeria and wanted to indict Cheney?

I think there was some loans at issue too and that silly pipeline! :freak:

6. French people have the class that many Americans wish THEY had. That's
the problem. It all begins with education.

8. I thought it was because that's where Democracy & The Bill of Rights
came from, and since Bush supporters, corpo-fascists and Straussians hate democracy and the Bill of Rights -- and really, the whole Enlightenment -- naturally, they'd hate France. In fact, "core 'murican values," and French values are polar opposites.

Think about it:

Rousseau v. Strauss

Monet v. Thomas Kinkade

Satie v. Toby Keith

Domaine de Thalabert v. Natural Light

Foucault v. James Dobson

Brie v. Velveeta

Intellectualism v. "Wife Swap"

Chanel v. Goop & Motor oil

The Tour de France v. The Tractor Pull

Soccer v. Washers

Black Leather v. Casual beige cotton/poly separates, topped with dressy Teddy Bear and Apple knit vest.

Freedom v. Fascism

Secularism v. Delusional Rapture Freaks

Voltaire v. Ann Coulter

The Death of the Monarch v. The Rise of the Monarchy & Ruling Class

About the only think that France has in common with the Middle American Fascists is, well, gravy.

9. The Cons really hate that slogan:
"Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite"

Absolutely the opposite of their goals. And the idea of revolution is another thing they fear. See http://chnm.gmu.edu/revolution/ for more background.
