Poll question: George W. Bush has driven you to...........
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 01:31 AM by Elwood P Dowd
He has driven me to drink more beer and use the dickhead word too much.
I've also lost a couple of friends and don't speak to my idiot sisters who think Bush is God's chosen one.

17. 'Stupid Weasel F*****s'
is usually what I'm yelling, and to be honest, it's usually at the TV or the radio. At what point last year, I tried to think of who is lower than a weasel and I came up with 'weasel f*****'

I also find myself yelling 'That's Not True!' and 'You're Making 'That Up!" and 'This is a scam!' over and over again.

(NOTE: censorship of the word 'fucker' is my own)

6. How about a new word? Masturbushing!
Masturbushing is what Limballs and Hannity do every day. Their little repuke whores call them up every day, and they have a circle jerk on the radio.

10. I voted 'lose friends'
but I'm also screaming at the TV, making plans to move out of the US, becoming sick to my stomach a lot, crying over the deaths we're causing. I've also decided that if * and his minions are Christians, there is no way I'm one.

I have lost the faith of my childhood. Some here would say that's a good thing, i suppose.

But it only makes me sorry that it was proven a lie by such awful people.

11. Buddy, The Big Bopper, Richie Valens
I remember hearing the news. A republican we called Ike was president. When Ike left office, he warned us about people like Bush. I wonder what he would think about the clown prince and his pack of thieves and killers?

14. I voted "hate your neighbor"
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 03:23 AM by dragndust
I've been thinking about moving. I'd suspected there was something very wrong with this town. I talked to my neighbor today about my feelings, and she more than validated them.

As recent as 1975 this stinking, rotten, festering soul-less town, burned a cross in the front yard of a black person who'd just moved in.

Oh, and on edit....as I've said before...this is a county that voted for Duh Fuhrer, right next to my home county 60-40% Kerry.

16. A bitter combo of #3, #4, #5 and #9, and I'd add "Suffer from depression."
My neighbors are actually nice people, but we were out for breakfast several months, and the husband started a diatribe about liberals. My wife and I let it pass quietly (we were their guests), but we haven't spoken to them since.

The reality of another 4 years of *'s horseshit, and watching the right-wing systematically tear apart and loot the country has my guts constantly aflame, and I can barely sleep. :grr:

19. I love your screen name Harvey! I have lost friendships, not because
friends we got into fights or whatever, I simply could not stand to hear one more misguided person tell me how wonderful it is to have a praying President.

Where you stand on Bush has evolved into more than politics for me, it is not only a point of view for a single issue, it is a central part of who you are and what you are willing to fight for. I have been disappointed by some and surprised and happy about others.

This whole process has also taught me alot about myself and the principles that I will not compromise, even at the cost of friendships.
