we should start referring to the shrub as "Bush the Destroyer" . . . |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 01:34 AM by OneBlueSky
things that he's already destroyed include:
- the nation of Iraq - 1400+ American lives - 10,000+ Iraqi lives - civil rights and civil liberties - fairness in the tax system - countless US jobs - the voting system - countless environmental laws and regulations - wild horses - a significant number of US treaty obligations - the country's reputation in the world - (feel free to add to the list)
things he wants/is trying to destroy include:
- the middle class - Social Security - Medicare and Medicaid - the Veterans Administration - the US military - Sequoias - the Artic National Wildlife Refuge - most American parks and public lands - the air - the water - poor people - homosexuals - brown and black people - Civil Service - the New Deal - bankruptcy protection - privacy - (feel free to add to the list)
hell, it might be easier to list the things he's NOT bent on destroying . . .
nothing is sacred to Bush the Destroyer! . . .
on edit: forgot to list "the dollar" and "the economy" . . . put them in whichever list you feel appropriate . . .

2. I like "the butcher of Baghdad" better. |
|
The destroyer seems almost heroic. The butcher is so much truer.

4. "Butcher" is fine, but don't limit it to Baghdad . . . |
|
the nature and scope of his butchery extends far beyond Iraq . . .

3. I can live with that, although . . . |
|
I'm still searching for a stronger word that really captures how insidious this man is . . . neither "Destroyer" nor "Butcher" are adequate to the scope of evil we're witnessing . . .

6. thank you . . . I'm sure there are many other things I omitted . . . |
|
the list really is quite overwhelming . . . "Destruction" is Bush's middle name . . . or "Butchery" if you prefer . . .

8. I've believed for quite some time that the Bush Administration... |
|
is not so much an Administration as it is a WRECKING CREW, hell bent on the destruction of not only this country, but seemingly the entire world. Scary times indeed.
