voting for iraq - will most of it be exiles who vote and not people
who are actually living with usa tyranny, occupation, and killing and bombing

the people who unwilling to live in their own country seem to be the ones who are enthusiastic for * - and not those under occupation

1. Actually, the expat Iraqis aren't voting either

Associated Press January 26, 2005
.
So far, Iraqis living in Iran comprise the largest bloc with 53,145 registrations, or one in five of all confirmed absentee voters.
.
By comparison, only 23,915 have registered in the United States - some 9 percent of the total - despite an Iraqi expatriate community numbering 234,000 people. More than 20,000 have registered in each Germany, Great Britain and Sweden. On voting day in Iraq itself, 14 million are eligible to cast ballots at 5,220 polling centers. They are choosing a 275-member National Assembly and provincial legislatures. The National Assembly will then appoint a new government.

3. I think more people
in the country will vote. There are only 5 places for Iraqi Americans to vote. A large group in South Florida are pissed that there aren't more places in the US to vote. The closest one here is in Virginia. Realistically, how many of us would be voting if there were only 5 paces to vote and the closest one was ove 500 miles away? Not a whole lot I bet!
