NOW I know I wasn't crazy regarding Bush "punditry." |
|
Any of you remember watching Bush in a debate, or give one of his speeches (like State of the Union, for example) and it would just be horrible. I mean BAD. Undeniably bad.
Then you'd switch over and listen to some of the "punditry" and they'd be fawning all over him, and you'd think :wtf:. Did we just watch the same thing?
Now I know what happened. Money talks. A lot of these were PAID fawners and paid cheerleaders for Bush and the White House.
At least now I know I wasn't crazy. I was witnessing paid-for endorsements. Nothing more than commercials. Bribery and payola.

1. It helps explain it. I still don't get why people voted for him. |

2. Because they believed what they were told by this PR campaign. |
|
These are the people who believe what they read in National Enquirer.
They buy crap off TV after watching infomercials telling them how X will change their lives.
Absolutely no critical thinking skills, or at least very limited.

5. PR campaigns AKA Brainwashing campaigns |
|
In an earlier article, I reviewed the varied aspects of personality profiling and simulation. While serving as Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department at the U.S. Army War College, 1993-1995, I conducted studies on profiling, psychological programming, and brainwashing. I explored and developed personality simulation systems, an advanced technology used in military war games, FBI profiling, political campaigning, and advertising. Part of my discovery was that:
* unenlightened human minds are combinations of infantile beliefs and emotional patterns
* these patterns can be simulated in profiling systems
* these profiling systems can be used to program and control people
Personality simulation systems are being used to create political campaigns that apply voter profiles to control their voting behavior. TV commercials and programs use personality simulation to profile viewers to control their purchasing and viewing behaviors. And sophisticated propaganda and brainwashing techniques are being used by the Bush junta to keep American citizens under control. 3. I had he same feeling after the first debate. |
|
All during the first Bush/Kerry debate, I couldn't BELIEVE this moron was the president. He stumbled over his words, looked worse than Nixon in 1960, had gallons of flopsweat, looked depserate, grasping. He confused Saddam and Osama a couple times, made joke that fell on ashamed silence from the audience......if politics were like "American Idol," Bush would have never gotten passed the audition stage based on that performance. I thought, "At last, when put up against Kerry, he's going to be revealed as the halfwit numbskull he is and the American people will wake up." It was like putting your idiot little brother's garage band up against Led Zeppelin: no contest.
I was so psyched.
Then. immediately after the debate, all I heard from the pundits was "Well, I thought it was even" or "I think Bush won this one." WHAT!?!?!?
I agree, unless you were paid to do so (or a brainwashed cultist), there was no logical way you could say Bush was impressive.
