Car bombings, suicide bombings, snipers, IEDs, dead civilians, dead cops, dead US soldiers, maimed and wounded by the thousands, power shortages, sewage backups and 65% unemployment - pretty much the same as now.
But we'll never know about it, because Happy Free Independent Iraq and their Amazing Election will fill papers and Tee-vee screens for the next six months.
Oh, and there might be a new guy in Baghdad to receive ambassadorial credentials, if anyone bothers to show up.

Or WHERE or WHEN. Also there is the highly likely possibility that areas of Iraq will not be allowed to vote. Bush is trying all he can to continue the puppet Allawi regime.

There are two more elections in iraq in 2005. The last one in December 2005 will be when they really choose the final leaders.
