Got my propane bill yesterday. It's three times the last one I got six months ago. Since I only use propane for heating and cooking, guess who isn't heating her trailer anymore.
Wasn't there something about going to Iraq to give their oil freedom to come to the USA? Or, are they doing this to us to pressure us to allow them to drill in ANWAR?
In the meantime all you rich seniors there with your hand out collecting Social Security, bundle up, that's all the heating you will be able afford in the future.

$273 for one month. That's twice as high as I ever paid for one month's heating than ever before. I thought perhaps I must've missed the previous month, then I remembered that last month I paid around $210. I looked closely. Yikes! $273 for one month's service!
Is this reflected in the CPI numbers? Seems like what we spend money on is inflating at a rate far faster than published figures.
