A "Fox News Exclusive" reports...
Edited on Sat Jan-29-05 03:13 PM by norml
A "Fox News Exclusive" reports that those who fired the rocket at the US Embassy were immediately captured. No one else is reporting that anyone has been captured in connection with this incident.

http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=7474211 U.S. forces were able to trace the trajectory of the rocket, and eventually honed in on three suspects near the launch site, officials told FOX News.

The suspects were then followed to a house in southern Baghdad, where they were corned by an American military chopper and soldiers on the ground.

2. You're clinging to that "reality" concept too much
How "quaint"...

Remember - this is the new Bush Paradigm where the RW gets to create their own reality. The rest of us slogging along in the "reality-based community" will just have to catch up.

3. Faux News
dropped the bombing coverage over an hour ago. Now it is Gibson hosting wall to wall coverage in Iraq and the US with the voting.

Can't have bad news on for very long, can we.

6. They reported it as "Some good news, to go with the bad".
They needed some good news at that moment, so they made it up.

5. The suspects just hung around the launch site?
Why weren't they apprehended there? How covertly is the military able to follow someone home?

7. Faux achieved their position by scooping others from within the military.
If that isn't right out of the CIA playbook it should be.

8. They are now saying that seven have been captured.
So they are still sticking with their "exclusive" story at this moment. It will be interesting to see how this story develops, and to find out if it has any validity.

12. These Aren't Bottle Rockets They're Shooting...
In a rare moment of candor, some wingnut retired military-type on CNNservative said the rocket that hit the embassy was a large one that could have been launched from 3 to 5 miles away. That's one large firecracker...not one you hide under the bed or bury in the backyard. Plus, it requires a bit of expertise and fuel to send it on it's way...especially to hit the target like it did.

Shame on Faux and the other networks that are exploiting the military to prop up this regime and attempt to legitimize this complete travesty of common sense and humanity. You're seeing more and more "average military" types on the screen in a two-fold effort to convince those who already are living a lie...with yet another lie, and to the military itself to stay in line and keep marching into the abyss. These people are being crapped on for the greed and power of those thousands of miles away, under almost no scrutiny and with little to lose. One day they'll be held accountable, it just won't come soon enough.
