Wal-Mart stinks. Anyone know a good site for info?
I was looking at buying a new tool and posted for information on another site about which model to get. After we decided which one I needed, someone suggested I try Wal-Mart. I said I never shop Wal-Mart <spit> and someone asked why?

I don't want to rant on this otherwise not so political forum but I would like to educate anyone I can.

Are there any sites around that tell the story of why Wal Mart is the great satan?

5. I imagine Target's website might participate in WalMart's demise, if you
ask politely ! But seriously Common Dreams has a '10 Worst Corporations 2004' and guess who's one !

7. This might help.
MONEY SPENT AT WAL-MART KILLS
GOD'S UNBORN CHILDREN!!!

or this one.

WAL-MART SUPPORTS
COMMUNISM!!!

Actually, I'm pro choice and don't care what economic system the Chinese use. The above I use on intellectually challenged fundies. Wal-Mart imports 80 percent of their products from China, a repressive authoritarian government that uses (forces) abortion as population control.

You will find a more detailed examination of Wal-Mart business practices at the following links. My favorite expose was done by Bill Moyers on NOW a few months ago.

Those should get you started, but there are so many different areas where shopping at Wal-Mart is bad for America. It would be a good idea to just pick a couple and work on those.

8. Why do you need sites to tell you the obvious?
Walmart represents the new age of capitalism gone bad.

Inferior Chinese made products so over promoted that even Japanese made quality products are falling into oblivion.

I had all I could do to find one thing made in the electronics department from Japan. I bought my son a Panasonic CD player....1000 times better than anything made in China. Even SONY items were shown to be made in China.

When they first started in our area, there were a number of American made items...such as electric heaters...that I bought a few years ago.

Now about the only thing I can find is motor oilk, food, and soap products.

The Chinese promotion is obscene at this point.

The best patriotic thing you can do right now is don't buy Chinese.
