Have I got this GMT thing right with regard to the time in Iraq? |
|
I'm in California, and it's a little after 6:00 PM. Does that mean it is a little after 6:00 AM Sunday in Iraq now?
California is GMT -8 (unless Daylight Savings Time makes it something else now), and Baghdad is GMT +4. So does that mean it's tomorrow morning in Iraq already?
Is Iraq's Sunday going to be over by the time we wake up tomorrow?

1. I think they're 8 hours ahead of the east coast. So around midnight |

that the polls open at 8:00pm PST.
We have an hour and forty two minutes to go. So yes, it will be over by the time we wake up tomorrow.
