Have I got this GMT thing right with regard to the time in Iraq?
I'm in California, and it's a little after 6:00 PM. Does that mean it is a little after 6:00 AM Sunday in Iraq now?

California is GMT -8 (unless Daylight Savings Time makes it something else now), and Baghdad is GMT +4. So does that mean it's tomorrow morning in Iraq already?

Is Iraq's Sunday going to be over by the time we wake up tomorrow?

1. I think they're 8 hours ahead of the east coast. So around midnight
EST the polls should be open//

3. I read today
that the polls open at 8:00pm PST.

We have an hour and forty two minutes to go. So yes, it will be over by the time we wake up tomorrow.

5. OK, so I was an hour off, probably because of Daylight Savings Time
Thanks.

4. Pretty much. Polls open at 11PM eastern time.
I don't know how many hours CA is behind. 3 hours?
