In case you missed it, they were reviewing a clip from the show that aired after the end of the Gulf War (I)at which Novak made some asinine coment (imagine that!) and Kate O'Byrne chimed in that at that time we didn't know that Saddam would get millions from the food for oil program through the UN "which would allow him to buy anything he wanted."

At which point Margaret Carlson said "except weapons of mass destruction."

I've always liked Margaret.

but she was downright hateful to the Clintons and pretty nasty to Gore too. Come to think of it she got in a few slams to Kerry.

CNN and FAUX work on the same principle.

Have on raving fascists on "one side," and "counter" them with media personalities like Carlson.

Carlson is not the flip side of O'Byrne just like Al Hunt isn't the "other side" to The Prince of Darkness, Novak.

CNN, just like FAUX (and PBS and NPR), promotes right-wing extremism, even if their style is different.

So the US Senate has 13 extremists in its ranks.

Nobody inquired as to the presence of extremist senators on the right.
