I should have written the url down, but it was basically a corporate guy in a suit explaining how great it was for them that people don't take their vacations. Any idea who's behind this? It was great!

a couple of nights ago. I think it was takebackyourvacation.com, something like that. It was great! I expected it to turn into something else but then, what a surprise!

8. I have seen it aired a couple of times and also
wondered who was behind it. Unions, maybe? It sure is anti-corporate.

Loved it---as it is so true that people are working longer and harder for the"company store" under this anti-worker admn., and are losing more and more benefits, as the giants know they can get away with murder under the neo-fascists.

10. poking fun at companies like airlines that ask employees to 'volunteer'
to help out for busy holidays and making sure to add 'those already scheduled to work will be paid'.

The school district in Tucson, strapped for cash, as many are, is asking employees to take unpaid days off or work without pay. Professional educators are already underpaid. Many are buying supplies for the kids to use in the classroom as the districts don't provide for paper, pencils, and so on. Some still cannot claim that expense on their taxes. Some states are looking into letting them deduct out of pocket expenses; how thoughtful!

America, face it, your work contributions are not only under appreciated, they are now considered as some kind of tribute to be paid to your employers. You should be SOOO happy to have a job that you are willing to do it for free.

Wanna real shock? Ask some high school seniors who Samuel Gompers was. Be prepared for blank stares.

13. I saw it too, and was so stunned that I ran to the website to see
what it was all about. Unfortunately, it was all about taking a vacation at the theme parks in Orlando. That was disappointing, to say the least, because I would bet my last buck that if a non-profit organization tried to run an ad that said the same thing, and then directed you to a labor union type website, they'd never get on the air.
