Has Bushco overplayed its hand with the Iraq "Election"? |
|
Bushco is busy spreading the meme about what a rousing success the Iraq elections.
However, if it gets planted in the public's mind that Iraq now has a legitimate, functioning, democratic government, people are likely to become a lot less enthusiastic about our military's continued presence there.
If this latest meme succeeds, it could ultimately turn the tide of public opinion in favor of total withdrawal.
Thoughts?

"Imminent terra-ist attack planned on US soil from those Al-kay-duh insturgents in Eye-rack...grab yer duck tape!"
And the sheeple (50.8%) will happily lap it up as the word from "god" so we'll have to stay there to make sure "we fight them 'over there' and not 'over here' "

I've seen him do this. There was an investigation of Cheney about 2 years ago. Bush got on TV and said he was sure "Cheney would be cleared". Amazingly, Cheney was.
The trashy little twit can't wait any longer. He's got to jump in there, and claim success. Now watch for him to take credit for the whole thing. He'll say, "I knew all along that this was the right thing to do".
