1. The poll doesn't address what I think.
Since there are no objective international observers, they can tell us anything they want to and the MSM are doing just that.

4. I'm just wondering how much the talking heads were paid
to spew the crap they're spewing this morning. I'm sure state rolled out some of that $200 billion for their "consulting" on this thing.

6. There was NO election in Iraq.
But everyone is drinking Bush&Co Kool Aid on TV.

The corporate media is paid to help create the illusion of elections.

9. What the Rat sez!
It's all bullshit. No International observers, they can tell us any damn thing they want to, and the Murkan MSM will lap it up and regurgitate it as fast as Karl's fax machine pumps out the press releases....

Total Bullshit.

"72% turn-out" my puckered asshole!

16. More like a lottery. Pick a spot, any spot (7,000 unnamed candidates).
It's truly insane.

7. I suspect many, like me partially agrees with all choices.....
Edited on Sun Jan-30-05 01:29 PM by hlthe2b
But, ultimately, given no objective international observers, my most intense reaction is that we are being manipulated just as much as are the Iraqis and have no way of really knowing whether these elections have any validity. While I hope for the best in terms of the future for Iraq, I have no confidence in that future, given my intense mistrust for the Bushies*.

8. PR stunt
Allawi's team will be "elected" and they'll from the government we want them too. But I'm sure the majority of Iraqi's will be fooled and buy into the legitimacy of the government and the insurgency will stop.

If our puppet doesn't win, i'll eat my hat.

10. Who are the candidates?
I haven't even seen them yet. I assume Allawi is running and will win, just like Karzai in Afghanistan. Karzai has done such a great job running Kabul.

11. The candidates are all unnamed.
This propaganda campaign is even more appalling than the WMD fraud.

I am astonished.

13. It's bullshit
No one knows exactly what they are voting for, and in the end they will still end up with a Bush puppet.

Think of it. A puppet of a puppet

15. I voted #2
because it came closest to my category of WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT!!!

And that pretty much sums it up.

When in hell are nations going to band together and kick our scrawny asses out of Iraq?

I mean, the whole world is almost as guilty as the US by complicity and silence.
