There's already a parenting board. How would a board for mothers fill a need not already filled by the parenting board?

But if such a board exists, I will certainly check it out :)

51. Proud mother of one...
we tried for more, but after 3 miscarriages, an ectopic, and a stillbirth, I realized that I had my "miracle baby" and gave up trying for more. Plus, we've had a house completely full of kids for at least 17 years of our son's 22 years! He moved out almost a year ago, and there are still a few of "my kids" who come around.:)
Then there are the dogs, but that's for another thread!

73. Why would anyone flame you?
:wow:

You have enough energy for 6 kids, more power to you. Pro Choice means some people choose to have a lot, some people don't.

We should be able to just get along and help each other (as women used to do) when the situation presents itself.

Ideally, I wish there were a world where children are welcome and loved and wanted and that abortion would be the furthest thing from anyone's mind. Our world has a ways to go on that and I just can't find it in my heart to judge someone for having to make one of the hardest decisions in the world.

Neither would I judge someone with enough love for 6 kids.

This thread represents the many nurturing mothers who share a concern for the future and have found a community that discusses those concerns. I'm proud to add my name to a list of many fine women.

I have 2 grown sons, 2 grown stepsons and 1 grown stepdaughter. My son brought us our first granddaughter who is now a delightful toddler, and we just learned my husband's daughter is expecting her first. As parents, we find this a very exciting time. All of our kids have turned out to be decent human beings and it's nice to see them carry on the traditions they've learned.

91. Mother of two, mentor to many
Son is prime draft age (20) and married daughter who is probably safe at 28. My son-in-love is from the UK, so not worried about him.
