This should be the Democratic talking point this week. Sure the elections were a sham. But it gives Americans a chance to demand an end to the Iraq war.

* stated goal (after the WMD claim were debunked) was handover to the Iraqis, and "free" elections. Obviously the elections weren't exactly free, but that is not what * will claim, of course.

IMO, Congressional Democrats should demand an immediate withdrawal of troops. * has stated, I believe last week that 120k soldiers or so will stay in Iraq indefinitely. It will be interesting to see the * spin if the Democrats do this.

1. Nope.
Somethings going to come up, I know it.

However, if I am wrong, disregard my comment.

2. There is no going home.
There will be another terrorist incident and that will be Bushwacker's excuse to bring back the draft. The draft is being lined up the administration and repukelicans just need the catalyst. Which will probably be some incident that is blamed on Iran.

The elections went perfect. Iraq is now a garden of democracy.
Now let us get out ASAP.

We the Bush admin. have been responsible for the training of over 120,000 Iraqi's. Can they substitute for US troops? According to Condi, no. Why? Because "some" of them are policemen and they are not "solid" yet.

Whatever the fuck any of this means.

5. Bush has it both ways:
These elections resounding success, proof Iraq wants democracy, insurgents defeated

AND

Nothing has changed, we can't leave.
