$250K Worth Of Cocaine Found On An Airplane At Tulsa Airport
http://www.kotv.com/main/home/stories.asp?whichpage=1&id=76896

Tulsa airport workers discovered a quarter of a million dollars worth of cocaine hidden inside an airplane.

The News on 6 has exclusive pictures of the stash. State narcotics investigators say a mechanic found 10 vacuum-sealed bags containing about 15 kilos of cocaine and a pound of marijuana.

Investigators say the drugs were in a floor panel and found during a routine inspection around midnight. Reports show the plane left Venezuela and was on its way to Miami Florida, when it was diverted to Tulsa for maintenance.

5. So the U.S. is working with Columbia to come up with a reason to
invade Venzueala - so some think - any link here or just your ordinary drug movement?

Don't you just love those nifty news reports that won't tell you what kind of aircraft, commercial or private (or government), large or small, licensed or not, U.S. or not.

7. Any other kind of plane issue & they tell us in nanoseconds who owns it
Yet with this here, they are just gonna go hang at Miami International and look for someone looking for the stash?? Hmmmmm.

The mechanic was doing "routine maintenance" on an Airbus 300, which had been diverted to Tulsa while headed to Miami, Fla., from Caracas, Venezuela, said Mark Woodward, a spokesman for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control.

The plane had no passengers when it was brought to Tulsa, he said, and no arrests have been made

Authorities will examine the packages for fingerprints and look for anyone in Miami who might be waiting on the drugs, Woodward said.

He would not identify the airline that owned the plane.
