RW Hate Mail defines what RW'ers are
A while back, one of my friends received a hate letter and decided to share it with some people, myself included.

This is what it said:

"Just take a look around at what type of individuals make up the liberal minority that chooses to continue stewing. Hippies, long-hairs, freelance this and thats, the homeless, the unemployed, and a handful of homos and queers from the some of the larger cities in the USA."

Using Logic we can deduce that RW'ers are the opposite of Liberals. Liberals have been 'defined' in the paragraph above.

Hippies -> War mongering Neo-Cons

Long-haired people -> Skin heads

The homeless -> People who live in Mansions

The unemployed -> CEO's

GLBT people -> Anti-GLBT Bigots

Neo-Cons, Racists, the Wealthy, and the Bigots, yes I think that defines the RW rather well.

2. of course in their limited no-nuance world
they only see the extremes and fail to recognize the "mainstream" looking liberals. They also fail to connect that many of these "freaks" are hard-working, tax paying helpful members of society.
Some are home owners, some are renters, some are squatters. Some have short hair, some long, some have mohawks. Some of us worked FT to put ourselves through school. All of us realize that investments in our society benefit all of us.

I think we can use this to our advantage - our diversity can surprise them, much like the "normal" looking protesters at the Coronation did. We need to sneak up on them and beat them, not at their own game, but at one which displays their corruption and lack of diversity.

3. They see the world in simple terms of black and white, good and evil,
etc.

Until it's their 14-year-old daughter who was impregnated by a minority after she was wasted on alcohol and marijuana (no, I'm NOT talking about the Bush twins, although I wonder how many times Jenna has "had her appendix removed").

4. Seriously, painting liberals as unpatriotic and wrong about
their core beliefs, only shines a bright light on the racist, homophobic, misogynist and uncompassionate beliefs of the right. I am proud to be any one or all of those "hippies, long-hairs, freelance this and thats, the homeless, the unemployed, and a handful of homos and queers from the some of the larger cities in the USA."

6. I have started using some of their tactics against them
more than once I have asked someone why they hate Freedom/America so much when they complain about protesters.

I have politely accused people of being bad Americans when they complain about critics of the Bullsh misAdministration.

I try to keep my voice at a reasonable level - I do not yell this, I calmly ask or state. While I am probably just being antagonistic, a couple of people have paused to try to understand why I would think they hate freedom.

7. "Free lance this and thats"?
Uh, I thought those were "Entrepreneurs", and the Salt of the Earth in Shrub's ownership society.

Those tireless small business owners who faced their fears and accepted that they wouldn't have a day off until their 65th birthday, or that their next vacation would be a LONG one, spent in a 6-handled box...

Oh, that's right, Ditto-Monkeys are "On Disability" from their minimum-wage jobs where they threw their backs out hauling their beer guts around....
