2. No, he'll come up with some other BS issue
Not that steroid use isn't a problem. It's just not something a "president" should waste time on.

Maybe he'll promise to cure the common cold or something.. and then ignore it until the next SOTU.

I can't imagine what he'll roll out this year.

Maybe kids and video games are destroying America...One virtual city after another?

6. NO--He'll start the War on People Who Don't Pick Up Their Dog's Poop
"We must end this terrorism on the streets and in the parks of America. No one should have to worry about stepping in shit as they walk to their limo. I know have always instructed my servants to pick up Barney's shit, and even my own. Hell, I haven't wiped my own ass in my whole life. But America doesn't notice. You like me because I talk like a hillbilly who just fell off the turnip truck and think I'd like to have beer with you. But I'd no sooner do that than pick up my own dog's steaming turds. Good night, and God bless America."

7. Here's what I expect
His main points will be

1. Iraq is now a democracy and also has "freedom 'n' liberty" (TM). He will admit that he is in effect the Abraham Lincoln of Iraq who freed the benighted natives from Saddam Hussein. The Iraq War was of course worth it, the elections were fair and true, everything is just great, the natives are grateful, and he certainly made no mistake in invading the country to make it safe for democracy. (WMDs? What WMDs?) The Iraq War is a total success and we should all be proud for supporting it and him in his resolute, manly leadership in this War. He's a War President, and he is victorious. (Here there will be a pause for appreciation and applause.)

2. There are Bad Guys -- oops- "terra-ists" -- in other places like Iran and we need to protect ourselves from them. They have WMDs and are planning to attack us! Imagine their gall! We must be resolute! We must do hard work! It's very, very, very scary and we should be afraid, but don't worry, he'll protect us. (Here there will be another pause for appreciation and applause.)

The rest will be a sludge of incoherent self-praise, random propaganda phrases, and about 50 repeats of "freedom" and "liberty." He'll probably insert a few anecdotal stories to indicate his own rightness and lovability. He may also say something stern about those annoying "activist judges," and how it's important to get rid of them. (Translation: any judge that upholds the Constitution in this administration is going to be sidelined as soon as possible and replaced with a blivet** loyalist who won't quibble.) He may well say something to indicate that he's going to unify the country and work with the Democrats, though it won't be convincing even when he says it as it is a total lie.

He'll preen and smirk but also look strangely old and eroded and off-balance. It will be a disturbing performance with no truth in it at all. And it will be praised by commentators and print journalists, many of whom will have written most of their articles before the speech is even given.

15. Oh yes, he will certainly carry on about how Soc Sec is bankrupt
(another lie which the after-speech talking heads will not point out) and how his plan will fix it. It's another variation on how we should be very, very, very scared but he will protect us.

Silly of me to have left that part out.

See how easy it is to write the SOTU speech? Maybe we can get jobs as speechwriters.

I think the only entertainment in the speech will be in trying to locate the inevitable "bulge" of the wireless receiver/transmitter by which he will receive prompts. He's bound to be wearing it, he's not competent enough to make even a canned speech entirely on his own.

So sickening, isn't it!! And all over america...the sheeple will be bobbing their heads and smiling those inane smiles...and thanking the sweet baby jesus that he is president.

13. We must replace welfare with gladiatorial games
the admission to the games will pay to feed the poor people as long as they continue to win. Losers will of course be dead and eaten, bringing additional savings.

16. No, that's a later stage: anyone on welfare is automatically drafted
At least I'm ASSUMING it will come later on. I'm sure they're wishing they could do it now. And they won't be calling it a draft, either -- after all, they promised not to do that and some of the members of Congress are up for reelection in two years.

One way or another they need more cannon fodder. This is a natural, fits with their philosophy very well.

20. State taxes, abolishing the deduction
He's gonna give his conservative buddies a wet dream and kick the
blue states mega hard... and all he's gotta do is call for an end to
the state tax federal deduction.... tax reform, is the pinnacle of his
covert adgenda to reverse the new deal entirely. Just watch.

Then the filth will get on about his new policy for war with someone
else and else and else. War and Death and Taxes and Death taxes and
war taxes... just to make sure that whomever pays them, did not vote
for him.

I expect him as well to declare a new front in his social engineering
war, probably by expanding the war on drugs users, something like that.
He'll also surely support a "strong dollar" in rhetoric and then in
action he'll run up the credit card and laugh as he defaults on his
creditors... same shit, different year.
