I Kid You Not: 700 Club Telethon is for Crazies -- "Jesus Bought My Truck"
So, I noticed it on the ticker, last night, and flipped over for laughs.

They were telling, you know, "heartwarming" stories about the power of prayer, and whatnot, and they told this story of a guy, who was down to his last seven dollars, and he made

A DARING INVESTMENT

Which was, of course, to mail his last seven bucks to the Pat Robertson Diamond Mine Telethon. What happened?

Well, things started looking up, of course. They got a mysterious $35,000 check in the mail, which "bought our truck."

Now, if they're preying on people for their last seven bucks, these are some sick-ass individuals.

Wouldn't God prefer that Mr. Truck march his seven bucks down the street to buy some bread and pass it out to some homeless, rather than have Pattty Robertson shave 90 percent off the top for diamond surveying, amusement parks and fascist think tanks?

These people are nutso.

1. And they are funding the 700 Club Killing Machine.
These people should be offered free lobotomies.

7. Thanks, Swamp Rat, I needed that
I love your reptoid "walk on" pictures. Can you do a post where you show all of the reptoid pictures in a gallery type form? I would love to see that.

9. Some day I will, when I find a place that won't ban me for questioning
or making fun of the Lizard King.

4. Why does the 700 Club need a telethon?
their whole friggin network is a telethon, do they really need a special 'telethon week' to squeeze MORE money out of their viewers?

5. "Mysterious" $35K check?
I'm sure they weren't "mysterious" to YOUR BANK. Ask THEM who sent it.

6. American Family Radio
is propaganda from lunatics as well. All hate all the time, in the name of Jesus Christ with a "give us moneython" thrown in every now and then. And I truly love their "newscasts." Listened to by ignorant mother fuckers who are going to get their ass kicked when they go knocking on the pearly gates.

8. Remember those bumper stickers that said..
I (heart) my cockerspanial or i (heart picture) jesus...etc. They used to sell patches u could put on that replaced the heart part with a picture of a screw..it was so fun to put them on and then hang around and wait for the owners to come out and see it...hahahhahaha...childish, i know...but soooooooooo much fun. might be time to revive that item..or others that would be so much fun to add to present day bumper stickers.
