The News Media is HORRIBLE! |
|
All we are hearing about is how great the "election" is and how great Bush is! This is just like the run up to the ILLEGAL Iraqi War! :grr: -What about the future of Iraq? Who will govern Iraq? When do our troops come home? :wtf: Allawi was the only name on the ballot and that seems to be O.K?!? :wtf:
Is it too late for our Country? The media is HORRIBLE!

1. Not too late, but we do need a new media, one that |
|
isn't receiving bribes from our government and right wing think tanks.

But the media is horrible--look at how they let the Republicans blather on about Social Security without correcting their obvious and pathetic mistakes Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

3. I agree with you. It seem the important questions are not |
|
being answered at all. Even the SS problems they are putting the bush twist on it. Making it appear to be such a great idea. This all sucks.

5. Whether the so-called "election" went well or not . . . |
|
I knew the spin was going to be that it went great. There were 44 people killed that day just for trying to vote. That's pretty bad to me. I'm sure some of them were American Soldiers, but like we aren't allowed to see the caskets coming home in honer of them, we were not given any names.
Limbaugh (so predictably) and the other right-wingers are praising the absolute GENIUS of BUSH! Talk about two words that should never be used together and that is genius and Bush.
Of course, their spin is the Democrats are saying it was nothing, because everything Bush does has to fail so he does not give him any credit.
Here . . .he can have all the credit for this joke of an election where people could not even campaign, no one knew who they were, and most voted for the Bush-picked interim leader, who is a CIA agent.
These poor people are just another ploy to be used to try to build up Bush's legacy. They were showing them commercials that if they go vote, the Americans will leave. Now in another year or two, and we are still there, are they going to join the terrorists?????

But Allawi was not the only name on the ballot. Not sure where you got that info from. There were several tickets to choose from, Shi'ite tickets and Kurdish tickets. Maybe even some Sunni's, not sure whether they boycotted putting anybody up for election or just the vote.
