Blue Ink = The New American Flag Lapel Pins
I guess wearing an American Flag on your lapel to show what a "patriot" you were has become passe.

Ditto for the magnetic yellow ribbon bumber stickers.

So now the wingnuts are putting blue ink on their fingers to pretend they actually care about Iraqis.

*Yawn*

I wonder what will be next.

14. Hey! that would be Illegal- REAL News Story!
Five years for shooting self in the testicles

Press Association
Wednesday July 14, 2004
The Guardian

A man who shot himself in the testicles with a sawn-off shotgun was jailed for five years yesterday.

David Walker, 28, had drunk 15 pints of lager when he accidentally discharged the gun, which had been stuffed down his trousers, Sheffield crown court heard.

Walker underwent emergency surgery after the accident in Dinnington in South Yorkshire. Tests are continuing to find out how it will affect his fertility and sexual performance.

A judge heard how Walker went home for the gun after spending an evening in the pub arguing with a lifelong friend, Stuart Simpson, about whose turn it was to buy a beer.

2. They would be truly caring
if they urged Bush to pay for the Iraqi freedom instead of passing that off to our children.

12. It took me a while to figure out what that was
Until I peeked at the file name, I thought it was a really poorly drawn picture of a chickenhawk with a blue thumb. :D

(tail to the left, blue head to the right, florida thumb)

8. Let's See How Happy They Are
When that blue ink is their death warrant. For years the French kept lists of collaborators. In many cases the partisans would pretend to cooperate with the Nazis for their own survival and to keep attention off their other activities. You don't think that's not going on in Iraq today?

Of course the right wing in this country is so selfish and shortsighted they could care less. They created a media event and now they're celebrating in the "victory", no matter how hollow it is. They sure showed us, didn't they.

I envision a day not too long where we'll see Chalabi strung up like Mussolini and all those who collaborated with the US...even those who voted (and their names are now on file) will be made to pay a price.

Funny thing about democracy. It tends to work best when the people in the respective countries rise up for it and develop it for their own culture. I know, that's far beyond the wingnut view of the world.

19. To be frank about it . . .
Edited on Mon Jan-31-05 06:35 PM by TaleWgnDg
.
To be frank about it . . . I've yet to figure out how the Iraqis were convinced to vote?! That is, if they fear the bombings, shootings and other deaths and injuries against them and their country and against us being there and those that *help* us in being there . . . how could those Iraqis then vote and be *branded* w/ a blue thumb and a voter *list* (they all registered to vote thus a list)????

Be *branded* and be on a *list?* Wha? All kidding aside.
