Jon Stewert unfairly slams Ted Kennedy |
|
Edited on Mon Jan-31-05 11:30 PM by K-W
He's got a stay to avoid civil war guy from newsweek on who told Stewert that, he(stewert) and kennedy need to stop saying to bring the troops home.
Stewert said that Kennedy had bad timing and that Kennedy had been calling the troops home the day before a successful election and how it was foolish, he was exagerating, but the context of the joke was clear.
Now even if you think there was something to this election, I cant imagine why, but even if, Kennedy has not said anything foolish or that is contradicted by this election. That is a Rush Limbaugh joke.

2. I think Stewert got a little election in his eye today. |
|
He got caught off guard by the guest and took a cheap shot at Kennedy to defend himself.

...it's called C-O-M-E-D-Y. And no one does it better than Jon Stewart (it's Stewart, BTW, not "Stewert").
Jeesuz, but you need to lighten up.
