Are any of the DU faithful protesting Ashcroft in Boston today?

A few DUers were going to head out to Faneuil Hall early this morning I believe. Hope they come back and report on the festivities.

2. I talked to Will Pitt last night.

He said the guy was sneaking into town real early today without much fanfare. He and some others were going to give him a real friendly Boston welcome! I'm sure they'll report in if they're not behind bars. :-)

4. We had 500 protestors at the Sheraton in Durham, NC, last Saturday!

They only announced it the afternoon before and it's incredible that many people could get their signs made nad out by 10:45 a.m. to be there. Everyone had a sign......incredible signs and all ages plus Dean and Kucinich folks with their T-shirts and buttons.....Grannies for Peace.....with flowered hats on.....Women in black......Libertarians against Ashcroft........so many different folks.

We even got to march into the Sheraton's circular drive and around chanting "It's Our Country....for the People"
before the police (they were great to us) asked us to leave.

This is North Carolina folks..........people are angry!
