? regarding "No Fly" lists and "Color-coded" passengers |
|
I'm sure you've all heard about the "No Fly" list being supplied to the airlines by God knows who and also this business of color-coding potential flyers to designate the security/terrorist risk they pose. My question is this:If you show up at the airport and are told that you cannot fly because you are on the "no fly" list or you are a "code red" passenger, do the airlines give you a full refund? I've read articles about people not being allowed to fly for whatever reason but the articles never mention whether or not these people are refunded their airfare. Does anyone know?

That would be infringing upon the inalienable rights of the Corporation.
Which is of course the only institution in Imperial Amerika (besides the Imperial Family, Capos, and Allies) that has any actual rights.
All the rest is a memory which will fade over some unspecified amount of time.

but if I showed up at the airport and was told I was a code red passenger, the refund at that point would be the least of my concerns. ;-)

5. I be freaked out too.. |
|
...at being considered "code red" but I'd also wonder, as I'm wondering now, if it could be part of a scam to sell the seat on that flight twice.

6. Could be our flying days are over |
|
from AP: "An estimated 1 percent to 2 percent who get "red" coding will be barred from boarding and face police questioning. They may be arrested."
2 PERCENT?? That's 1 out of every 50! Perhaps 6 million people!
and the "yellow" list is much bigger than that.
I think we can guess where this is going.
Yellow: All registered Democrats.
Red: Anyone who ever attended a protest or posted to a board like this one or wrote to his representatives to object to Bush* policies.

7. that's not 1-2% of everybody |
|
that's 1-2% of everybody coded red.
And I don't think it's quite as bad as that. I think right now DU might make you a yellow at most. I flew to Italy this past June and had no problems except for my belt setting off the metal detectors. Probably because I was the lone yellow in a family of four nice green people and the one yellow... they probably just thought I was the bad son or something.

8. I read an article where a nun... |
|
...who'd taken part in a peace protest was barred from flying. A NUN!!!
I really do think that this whole thing is partly a way to scam the flying public out of more money. Designate some guy (or nun) a risk, don't refund their money, and sell their seat on the plane again. Double-dipping. I don't have nearly enough info to say any of this with any certainty but I'm suspicious by nature and I'd be surprised if the airlines didn't see the possibility for a double-dipping scam.

If corporations want their executives or employees to not be on the list, they better hire RNC contributers and Bush pioneers only for top positions. Otherwise you can forget that flight to California, which the company needed you to make in order to demonstrate that brand new software! :smoke:
No wonder Sharpton missed so many debates.
