From the Desk of $hrub: Patriot Day
Somehow, I can't see him proclaiming anything other than whether or not he wants non-alcoholic (sic) wine with all of the crow he will have to eat. But here goes:

10. Let's gather and sing "Der Horst Wessel Lied"
A good, old song about another Fascist crimminal!
Dedicate it to Dumbya "LIHOP" Shrubby.

3. Just this September?
It specifies the year. If he were serious, it would be a permanent holiday. Once again, by misusing language, he cheapens it. America's history is replete with patriots. The only patriots who died on 9/11 were those trying to rescue the victims of the attack. Those in the twin towers were just normal, everyday folks, not patriots. They didn't die for their countries. They didn't die for a cause. They died randomly and without reason. They were victims, but not patriots.

5. Bush is all about the cheapening of 'Murika
I think this is implicit everytime he uses the word 'Patriot' or 'Freedom' or 'Decmocracy'. He is trash, and everthing he touches turns to trash.

6. This should be a bank holiday...
and a paid holiday by most employers! Hell it should be made into a 3-day weekend..

Just because my birthay happens to be on September 11th, doesn't mean this is motivated by self-interest...

Well, maybe just a bit...
;-) :toast:

9. Challenger.
Happened my senior year in school. One of my teachers was an alternate on the "Teacher in Space" program. half the school was huddled around one TV in the library, and the rest were in the teachers lounge.
