In tonight's debate, will anyone take a definitive stand against $87B? |
|
Is any candidate likely to flatly oppose Bush's latest round of "Texas Panhandling"?
Will anyone offer a counter proposal for what to do in and about Iraq and Afghanistan?
What do you think the candidates will say on the subject?

Doubt if anyone can get elected not supporting more funds spent, but I think its a mistake to do so. We need to leave ASAP and hope to hell the islamic fundamentalist who takes over as leader doesn't get along too well with Osama and gang.
Otherwise, it'll be blood and guts and money spilled from here to as far as the eye can see.

He took a strong stand yesterday on this, it surprised me. Now admittedly, this is playing politics a little but I think it is a great move for Kerry and the other Dems, use this as leverage to do more political damage to Bush.

kucinich has absolutely nothing to lose. neither do sharpton and carol m/b. i would expect some straight talk from those three. it should be an interesting time tonight - especially watching the faux's spinning tops afterwards. sharpton better be there.

7. But you think they'll all support giving the $87 B |
|
They'll just demand something in return?
I think at least two of them will actually oppose approval of the full request.
And I wish one of them would oppose approving any request of the WH, that is, insisting that any budget for the Bush/PNAC war would have to come from Congress, not from the WH.
