1. Done! And the rest of the story:
Squirrels chewed some wires in my truck with the result that I could charge the batt and start it ONCE. Planned to drop it off at the garage and go vote. Charged it and left for the fixit place with Mrs. t. following. At a stop sign she flashed her lights and yelled at me "the *service engine soon* light just came on (in our 98 Voyager minivan). She followed me to my truck mechanic and then we went to the Chrysler dealer who services the van. Needed a new fan switch. 3 hours. The dealership owner is our next door neighbor. I found him and asked to borrow his (a?) car to go vote. No problem.

We both voted "yes", but it was a struggle.
