3. Even the little dark blue diamond (ABC/Wash Post) is slumping

The highest of the high marks goes to the ABC/Washington Post poll, and is consistently in the high end of the spread, but even that number is down to 56%. It will be interesting to see the next AmResGp numbers (whoever they are). They seem to be first with the worst for Bush, but within six months, most of the rest of the polls catch up (or rather down) to it.
