On Jim Lehrer's PBS news tonight, an interview with Henry Kissinger in which Jimbo asks Hank if he thinks that Iraq is starting to look like Vietnam.
Henry naturally equivocates, but then Jimbo starts asking him about how the last few troops in Vietnam were helicoptered out. Henry starts talking about the bedlam surrounding the defeat and the fact that a number of troops were lost and couldn't be gotten out. He was reminiscing quite contentedly and then it hit him, and he coughed and changed the subject.
Such a nice juxtaposition. Thank you Jim. :-)

When Nixon told him the difference between the two was that HK cared about the innocent civilians being killed in SE Asia, HK said, no he didn't care, except that he didn't want Nixon to look bad!
