PERSONALLY!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe the way they tried to cover up for Gannon.
I remember those guys crowing when the blogosphere "outed" Dan Rather.
They were all shits and giggles, congratulating said "outer". Slapping one another on the back. Damn near had an orgasm on air. Well, OK, they did ejaculate on-air.
But when the left peels back the band aid of a right winger's sores, letting the pus ooze out, all of a sudden we're making it "personal".
It really made me think -- just HOW MANY of these incompetent fucks are on the Bush payroll? There can't be any more questions about Kurtz and Blitzer. Their double standards and hypocrisy are just infuriating.

know who is covering up for whom and who told them to do it? Too personal? Not if it were a Dem, nothing is too personal.

3. Let's ask who is NOT on the Bush payroll |
|
As it stands, only the Liberal Bloggers, Keith Olberman and Jon Stewart.
CNN is fully infiltrated.

4. I said it yesterday, they should take that clip of the two exchanging |
|
opinionated misinformation and use it for media schools to illustrate what went wrong with the media in the 90s and during the Bush II reign. Show what the American people were subjected to in the mainstream by comparing what Blitz and Kurtz said, with what was later discussed on Olberman just a few hours later.
The difference is startling.

5. Could serve as a classic example |
|
I can't remember ever seeing such a blatant example of trying to blow off a story. Even if I hadn't known the details beforehand, I would have been left puzzled by the dismissive tone. Why would this guy just run away if he hadn't done anything? He was scared of some liberal bloggers and he gives up a slot in the White house briefing room?

15. If Gannon was a legitimate reporter |
|
then he should have fought tooth and nail to keep his spot in the press pool.
Instead, him and Rove are trying to scrub every possible connection from the internet archives.

6. I watched Kurtz & Leslie, Anderson Cooper, and Olbermann... |
|
and the differences between the three stories were INCREDIBLE. Kurtz and Leslie were practically being apologists. Cooper was better, at least he interviewed Slaughter, who administered several swift slaps of sensibility. Olbermann of course tore it up.
The later coverage really made Kurtz and his "ooh, poor man, naaaasty liberal bloggers threatening him," totally look like he was on the payroll.
now I'm getting mad, who's the CNN ombudsman? Cooper gets props for HIS coverage, though, for sure.

7. Oh Christ, I know- that was a new low for CNN yesterday. |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 03:13 PM by Stirk
Their garbage is usually alot more subtle than that. More like Fox News from 1999-2000. They've been getting more and more overt, catching up to the modern Fox News. That segment with Kurtz was some of the most pathetically transparent Bush-shilling garbage I've ever seen.
