Question For Graham Supporters
I walked in late and didn't get to see the debate, just the closing. He was dealt a bad hand with that disrupter, but he said enough to remind me of how creating jobs was a priority for him when he was Governor of Florida. Can anyone give me information about what he said and how he did in the debate? I understand that he made the harshest criticism of Bush.

1. He said Halliburton more than once.
And so did Edwards.

I thought Graham did well. Nothing electric, though.

2. Not concerned about "electric" right now.
I'm concerned with content. And personally, I like his calm manner.

3. I love the guy's mind and tenacity
but I don't think he has the personal charisma to beat chimpy in "American Idol" America.

4. Agreed.
Too bad. Good ideas, not enough charisma.

7. Compared to Bush?
Bush's image is propped up with the help of the media. The only one who has the information to cut through that facade, and not come across as petty, is Graham.

5. Bob Graham
I am a Dean supporter but I thought Bob Graham said more that made sense then any one else. No body stood out much.

6. Graham was at his best tonight
First thing I would point out is that there is no equivalence between the way in which Graham went after Bush on Halliburton and Edwards went after Bush. Graham was a powerful force tonight. At one point in responding to whether he'd approve the $87 billion bush is asking for Iraq, Graham stated (and this is a paraphrase "Hell , no, if it means giving the money to all of the presidents friends and campaign contributors."

Graham also very powerfully distinguished his own record on creating jobs in Florida.

He was forceful and compelling and received very loud applause several times.

8. Two good observations:
(1) On a domestic level, he has experience creating jobs; and

(2) on a foreign level, he's been privy to the strongest briefings on where our intelligence community went wrong regarding 9/11.

I look for substance and I think he has the resume.

9. He did a good job
stumbled over a gay marriage question, IMO, but did an excellent job on everything else. He was the best I'd ever seen him.

11. Graham was the one who had the "national security failure" goods on Chimpy

I believe the disruptors used Joe Lieberman as cover to attack Graham, calling out Lyndon LaRouche name. They destroyed Graham's rhythm twice when he was on a roll.

Rove operatives at work.
