Latest Reagan Memorial Proposal- Put him on the $50 Bill
More haigiography from the right, and from one of the most moronic Republican Congressmen in Minnesota, John Kline. Grant should stay on the bill for his Civil War activities if not for his failed Presidency. He did a hell of a lot more for this country than Reagan.

I'd not be against putting Reagan's mug on Treasury Bills, like the million dollar ones since we are still paying interest on the debt he left for us from the 1980s.

WASHINGTON - Minnesota Congressman John Kline wants former President Ronald Reagan's picture to replace Ulysses S. Grant on the $50 bill. Grant was a Civil War general who went on to become president.

Kline, of Lakeville, served as a military aide to Reagan. The Minnesota Republican said Reagan was guided by unwavering principles and a steadfast character. Kline has a photo of him in military dress shaking hands with Reagan prominently displayed on his congressional Web site.

3. How about we put his picture on the bonds that represent government debt?
He was the master of excessive spending, it would be quite fitting.

5. Putting That Amiable Old Fraud On The Fifty Dollar Bill, Sir
Is flat disgusting.

General Grant was a swell fellow, though afflicted with poor judgement in choosing friends, and needing on occassion to knock his head against a wall once or twice before he could think clearly....

"The difference between me and Grant is he don't give a damn what the enemy does out of his sight, and it scares the hell out of me."

11. Put Him on the T-Bill
Having his face on instruments of government DEBT would be very appropriate.
Every year, he ran up more debt than any one of his predecessors did
in their entire term.
