"Born in the USA" .... oh puleeeeeeze
Jeebus, Dick ... couldn't ya come up with anything better'n that? Who are you - Reagan II, Electric Boogaloo? Listen to the lyrics, dude

Anyway, if you're gonna pick a Springsteen (there's a second "s" in there, btw Dick) song, Thunder Road is the clear choice ... or Jungle Land

... maybe The River ...

Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse ...

Sue

6. I hate contrived answers!
Dick lost any credibility he had with me.

9. He Lost Credibility Because Of A Song???
NOt because of any of his positions on slightly less important things like health care, Iraq or the economy...

But since he couldn't come up with a snappier theme song???

Hilarious!

3. What's the Dean choice ?
I know who Wyclef Jean is, but I've not heard that tune.
Good answer for an urban college crowd, IMO - more hip than the others.

He must have known that question was coming.
Heads'up staffing at DFA. I like that. :)

7. Dick obviously doesn't see the irony...
...he likes a song about Vietnam vets, but he voted for a new Vietnam. Real smart.

He probably thinks repeating "miserable failure" now until next November will get him elected, too.
