An email from Michael Meacher |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-09-03 10:24 PM by Minstrel Boy
After reading his Guardian piece on 9/11 I fired off an email of encouragement and thanks, and received this reply:
Many thanks for your email. This is an issue which I intend to continue to pursue.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
Regards.
Michael Meacher
It's wonderful news that the article wasn't a one-off, and that he's pursuing this line of inquiry. But I wanted to share it with you as well to suggest that positive feedback is never out of order. When we see an article like Meacher's pierce the veil, we ought to do all we can to encourage more of the same. Letters to the editor, emails to the author, whatever. It doesn't take much, but it might encourage, in a small way, a little more light being shed.

in GD, but it seemed hard to get any traction... Everyone is caught up backing or bashing a Dem candidate.
I guess I am a little disappointed that a high profile person has agreed with all of the observations I have agreed with.
My feeling is that too many people find it too objectionable to even want to think about it. I guess... I don't know.
What's the deal? it seems so obvious.... But I guess I am someone who has consumed mass amounts of information since before selection 2000.

any traction in the US media. I read your posts and responded but it looks like most DUers are too"jaded" to believe that the information will actually make a difference.
