At present, they seem to be strong on the concrete programs but weak on the abstract buzzwords that will resonate with the majority of the voters. They need to put more emphasis on the rhetoric that appeals to the majority of people who vote from their hearts (emotionally), as well as specifying programs that appeal to the more activist voters who put some intellectual effort into understanding them.

All it's saying is that the questions you ask determine the answers you get. Chomsky's been saying the same thing for decades. Ask people if they want to pay more taxes, they say no. Ask them if they want healthcare even if it means higher taxes, they say yes.

So why is there a Republican in the White House today and likely tomorrow if not 12-16 years thence? There's little doubt in my mind. Dems are not getting the point here.
