Clark to decide by end of next week
This is part of an email from the draft Clark people. Looks like he's going to announce his decision next week.

After meeting with Clark in LA...

Now, we still don't know for sure if the General is running, but... he has confirmed a decision will come by the end of next week. We're in the home stretch -- keep pushing hard and might just make this draft into a campaign.

9. Clark did an interview about his progressive economic views
I choose to believe that Clark reads my posts and act accordingly. :)

Someone posted an interview with him, and he pointed out a lot of his economic progressive views. This makes sense since Clark is a middle class guy that got where he is through hard work, unlike many of the candidates.

I don't know if Clark can win the Democratic primary, but he could beat Bush in the election with both arms tied behind his back.

8. In essense, sometimes they do, while running for president
Edited on Wed Sep-10-03 09:41 AM by Woodstock
I wouldn't be surprised if Graham or Edwards were on the ultimate ticket as VP.

If Clark runs/doesn't get the nomination, I'd wouldn't be surprised to see him there as VP, either.

11. If he decides to become candidate then he needs to be in next Debate!
He can't just ride in as the "White Knight" and expect that he won't have to do some debating with the rest of the candidates who have been doing this for a couple of months now.

I hope his "Draft Committee" will see that he's present at the WSJ/CNBC Debate September 24th.

13. He'll have announced by then
and will be at the debate. Personally, I'm glad he's sat out the first two debates, especially last night's fiasco. I think it will play to his advantage.
I don't expect Clark to behave the same way the other candidates do and he won't. He's different and that may be exactly what we need. Not the status quo, not the cookie cutter Democrat.
