Flashback City In a profile of Arnold Schwarzenegger that appeared in U.S. News in November 1990, the Terminator elaborated on his nascent political views: "My relationship to power and authority is that I'm all for it. People need somebody to watch over them," he explained. "Ninety-five percent of the people in the world need to be told what to do and how to behave."

Including the sordid and grotesque personal life that suddenly no one seems to care about.
Bet the TV would tell them 12 times to care if Arnie were a Democrat. the TV would tell them 12 times to care the TV would tell them 12 times to care the TV would tell them 12 times to care the TV would tell them 12 times to care
I miss living in the Free World surrounded by a Free People...not this place with it's TV-watching, slack-jawed, harried, hurried, post-ironic Imperial Subjects of Amerika.
But we neither live in that place and the people, if they ever deserved the title of "Free" certainly bear more resemblance to Germans 1933, Romans 47BC, S. Africans 1947, or Soviets 1978 than they resemble the people who beat Hitler in DubyaDubyaTwo (when Bushler's Granpa was laundering Hitler's money).
