So what do we do now if a quorum is reached for Texas Gov's 3rd Special
Session?

MoveOn.org just sent them $1 million. Are there other tactics to be used?

1. Pray that the House and Senate can't reach agreement...
IMHO it's our best hope, because the Speaker and the President Pro Tem don't get along very well.

2. House members could jump ship
So the Senate has a quorum. Then let the House skip town. They can hold this off past the 2004 election with just another month or two of staying power. When the real legislative session convenes in 2005, the 2/3rds rule will be back in effect again.

4. I think there probably will be lawsuits.
I'm not sure if said suits would postpone or prevent redistricting from going into effect, though.
