Whether he gets the running mate nod or not, what do you all think of Bill Richardson?

2. Unrestricted free trade supporter, DLCer,
we could do better. I'm thinking Graham or Clark for VP. We will probably win New Mexico anyways, and we need Florida's EV's, especially because Bush has a head start, with redistrcting in 2000 and all.

3. Repuke husband likes him.
I made imabigteapot watch the NM debate. Bill Richardson opened the event. After about 15 minutes of debate watching, I asked Mr. Teapot if he liked any of the Dems. He replied that he liked the guy that gave a speech prior to the actual debate.
I am making headway with the repuke I live with - inch by inch.

4. Living in the Four Corners
for the last 11 years and getting all my "local" news from Albuquerque, I don't like or trust him. I've only ever seen him being ridulously opportunistic, never heard him say anything more substantial that what's on the front page of that Website. Richardson? Blecchhh! No thank you.

5. No to Richardson
All you had to do was watch him tell Jim Lehrer with Tommy Thompson all about how the feds have done an excellent job with funding 1st reponders for homeland security to get the gist of whose side he is on.

He is a total opportunist. New Englander - went to NM just to get into national politics. Kind of like the Bushes.

6. Liberman is about as liberal as him
I'd rather do without Richardson in the WH. He's fine in NM.
