What ever happened to the attempt to hack the voting machines???
I believe one of our own DUers was the one trying to do it, what's the status?

1. As I understand it,
DemActivist asked for assurance that she wouldn't be prosecuted under that new Digital Millenium Copyright Act (or whtever it's called), and they won't respond to that.

In the meantime, the SOS apparently can't (or won't) get Diebold to allow them to use the equipment for this purpose, so they are only offering a machine that has no software on it. That of course is absurd, so it is currently stuck.

2. Yeah, but she could bring her own hammer, screwdrivers and
maybe even a hacksaw to "hack" the machine!

Bwaahahaha.

The SoS doesn't have the guts to get Diebold to agree.
