How Would a Clark Run Play in the Barracks in Baghdad???
..and the homes of the loved ones who await the return of the guys in the barracks of Baghdad?? Do they spit on Clark 'cause he isn't their great Commander in Chief and shouldn't be insubordinate when we are kicking ass and fighting a war. Or, do they sigh with relief and say, "thank Christ..maybe now we can get someone in here who knows what the fuck end is up"???? Would they really prefer Bush over Clark?? Does Clark make Bush look like a fool and just a blowhard?? I know Gen. Zini the other day was addressing a room full of top brass and said something about how all of them were "forged" in Viet Nam and there learned the lying/deceit of our government and asked it if was happening again (Buchanan reading the transcript); and Buchanan said that he got a standing prolonged ovation. I say the day Clark announces, Bush becomes their punching bag.

5. Hasn't the Pentagon
hired a Saudi company to set up internet "voting" for them. I guess they won't let anything but a repig "landslide" to happen with the military vote.

2. Our troops will love General Clark
He's the one that tried to keep Bush from putting them in this position anyway, and you know damn well Clark's not going to be cutting military health care and veteran's benefits like Bush.

3. I'm sending my husband info on Clark-which he shares w/ others
I'm also sending him info on all the Democratic candidates. He's relying on me to keep him informed and up to date since he's out of the loop while in Iraq. I must confess to "pushing" him toward my favorite-that shall remain nameless...I don't vote and tell...and I DON'T vote republican..never have, never will.

In his company, of roughly 250 men/women, Bush isn't exactly a favored son lately. I send all info on Halliburton contracts (and all others)...which were greatly appreciated..especially since Halliburton employees spent a few days at the building my husband's company occupies in Iraq. Troops are really ticked by what they see as one big sellout.

4. Solly--good, keep us informed will you
I'm glad to hear that the guys are getting the Haliburton news and that they are not in love with Bush anymore (saw lately that some whores are trying to put down the reports of others that the troops aren't happy with Bush and say they still are all gung ho for him, etc.). Please let us know what they are saying and how they respond to the candidates. Is you hubby finding that guys might be falling out of love with Bush but detest Democrats?????

6. You have your diehards who are angry at how Bush is treating them
BUT can't get their heads out of their asses long enough to listen to a Democrat. You have those who were onetime hardcore supporters who now say they will never vote republican again.

The "General" in front of Clark's name is a huge plus with some.
Mainly, when they read what I send over, they just grow more disgusted with Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney....which is a good thing.

7. Just remind them:
That General Clark won a war and did not lose a single American. Also, when asked by Clinton to bring ground troops into Kosovo through the north, thus bringing them within range of the Serb Army and outgunned (Cohen's big fat stupid idea), Clark told Clinton he would resign before he did that.

After that Clinton keep an open line to Clark. Ever wonder why Cohen did not like Clark. Think Rummy could deal with a man that Chris Hedges calls an "honorable general"?

8. My husband is an activated reservist in support of the 3rd ID.
He comes in contact with alot of the troops returning home. There are alot of pissed of soldiers. I think a Clark run would be well received by the military (esp because he didn't support this Iraq debacle).

9. thank you for your sacrifice...
...I'm sure life is difficult with your hubbies overseas. Please don't ever think that those of us who protest Bush's occupation do not support our men and women in harm's way.

Let them know we are working to bring them home by changing the regime here. Let them know how much we want them home.

11. My family has been very fortunate.

My husband is currently pulling a stateside tour (and I'm praying it stays that way though with the way things change on a daily basis who knows).

I was really worried when he was working out of his MOS (for awhile he worked on the range handling anti tank weapons etc.) but now he's involved in processing troops in and out of country.

10. Let's also remember all of those troops

Have wives and husbands and mothers and siblings that want to see them home again in one piece and will understand this is the gentleman who can bring them home with HONOR. Not in a coffin but with their friends, safe to their families. Wesley Clark is the perfect person for the ugly task that this criminally insane idiot has left us with.
