Luntz advises:
Economy due to 9/11 not political leadership
9/11 perfect reason to give to put the country into red ink

1. I'm listening now
Is he any good? I'm always looking for new people to listen to whenever someone on AAR has repeats and stuff. His voice reminds me of Alex Jones.

2. He's one of the best debaters
His conversations with right wingers are the best on radio, imo. He conducts most in such a way to illustrate the depth of their ignorance. He's masterful.

5. Bernie Ward is wonderful
He's especially impressive when he argues with Christian fundies about gay rights. The man knows his scripture and uses scripture to argue them down. I've stolen his line of reasoning on religion umpteen times with coworkers since the gay marriage issue began.

7. One Of The Best
His logic is solid. Won't see anyone getting him to run after a red herring.

3. Luntz's memo: The media and the republicans and the people who
don't give a shit, will eat the 9/11 lies for every bit of bullshit...hook, line & sinker.

Bernie is great!

4. Timely...
NYT Paul Krugman warned Tuesady that
Bush Inc. would dredge up 9/11 and terrorism
again to pump life back into his domestic agenda.

And here's Cromagnon-Head-Luntz.

One guy is calling in now and made a good point about 9/11. If it was the democrats in office the economy would've boomed because of security and everything and we'd have more jobs. And it's been over three years now since 9/11 and Bush is still losing jobs. It doesn't make much sense. And Bernie is saying how the republicans hold EVERYTHING and they still find SOMEWAY to blame the democrats. Even Clinton and he's been gone a lil over five years now.

11. Bernie Rules
I've been a big fan of Bernie and RayTal (who follows him at 0100 PST)
for some time. They are my late night buds every night. Ray is relentless in his attacks on the Bushies. Like Bernie, he won't
stand for much caller BS. Each has their unique style. RayTal has been
doing this gig for a long, long time.

BTW, SoCals can easily get KGO on any reasonable AM radio. I can easily listen to KGO in my car after dusk. I have three different radios that
can pull it in with little or no noise.

12. I wish I could stay up that late
Tal is on so late. I'm already a night owl but I'd never see daylight unless it was sunrise. Are there any archives of his program?

14. Yes, I checked and they aren't archived there
About the guy who just called - that was what I meant, earlier. Bernie knows how to handle them.

17. Bernie's A Voice Of Reason
I listen on a radio that pulls in Internet audio off my wireless router. I get KGO and all the Pacifica stations. Unfortunately only on Air America station...and they program in Spanish at night. (Note to AAR trolls: Contact V-Tuner so you can get on the Linksys wireless & cellular systems).

20. Bernie - the Lion of the Left
a true Christian I tell you, unlike Reverend Falwell and the Religious Right. Bernie used to be a Franciscan priest I believe.

What impresses me most about him though is his handling of the Thanksgiving Charity drive KGO holds every year. That is the meaning of Christianity, looking after the least of your brothers and sisters. No mention by Jesus of homosexuals, but tons on how we should treat the poor and marginalized. Jesus dined quite often with sinners, driving the self-righteous Pharisees nuts.

He's one of my favorites along with Mike Malloy. Those guys both have attitude especially Mike with his hellfire and brimstone.

22. anything else? please summarize for the cube rats
I just saw a LTTE in the Hartford (CT) Courant today about how 9/11 caused the economic downtown and how Bush's brave tax cuts were the only thing that kept the country afloat.
