Total Insanity
when I first started posting here after 2 years of lurking I ridicule a poster for saying she was leaving due to the constant attacks on her candidate(Dean). Now I see why. The top message count posts on this board are about how Clinton was a total fuck-up, why Kerry(S&B-Ma) listens to anyone who isnt in lockstep with him, if Dean (a fucking doctor for chrissakes) is intelligent and other such nonsense. Ive soured badly on this site in recent weeks and its only getting worse. I just hope the yahoos who at this dangerous time are still complaining about Clinton will be happy while Bush cruises to another 4 years. Shit even Freepers have gotten over Clinton, when will "liberals"?

2. I can't see attacking any Democrat at this point...
...even Lieberman. Holy Joe is Dean's secret weapon. Every time he attacks, Dean goes up a couple points.

3. Ironically, if Bush cruises to another 4 yrs, one of the reasons will be
the political confusion of Democrats -- which is neatly demonstrated by the fact that so many of them still think Clinton was a hero.

5. Take it easy
This is the Acid Test on the internet for the democratic party. The reason why we bash Clinton is because he keeps siding with the damned republicans so that makes Bush look like a good guy. Like the time he said we shouldn't fault Bush for the Iraq mistake. Gee Bill you mean it's Ok to let the puppet president kill our soldiers and Iraqi civilians so Haliburton can have bigger profits. You see this is why I'm disapointed with the DLC and one of the biggest goals of Liberals should be the dismantling of it. Because every time Bill does that stuff it gets repeated in the right wing echo chamber of media and it never get's challenged. So that's why we see 69% of the american "sheeple" believing that Saddam was involved in 9/11. That's why the majority of Americans support this slaughter in Iraq. Because Democrats like Clinton won't grow a pair and stand up to the bad Idea's of the republican filth they just go along with it. That's why we lost the House and the Senate because people stopped seeing a difference between the two parties so a majority say "fuck it, what's on survivor".

6. Critical Thinking
I think one of the things that distinguishes progressives is their ability to think critically about the world. They don't just follow a leader or party in lockstep. Now this might be a political weakness, but I believe it is an intellectual strength.

7. plus, it's the primary season
everyone's jockeying for position. many are already backing candidates and are passionate about those candidates. it's only going to get worse for a while; that's the nature of the beast. when it gets to be too much, I ignore threads with candidates' names in the titles for a few days.

that said, I do wish that we could debate and "think critically" with a little less vitriol than is commonly seen around here.

8. Freepers have gotten over Clinton?! I don't think so.
Now they envoke his name everytime you bring up the lack of WMD. "Well, Clinton thought that they were there as well".

Yeah, but... Clinton is not the President!!! And remember, I thought that he was a liar. So if Clinton was a liar and him and bush gave the same dirty story then what does that make bush?
