Did the Germans deny Mein Kampf until they were defeated?
Just wondering...

You know with things like PNAC, the acknowledged sham of Operation Liberate Iraq, it is clear how the Bush administration will be viewed in History.

With the incredible lack of interest in the truth about 911 in the wake of Iraq, I am curious about German denial. Are we experiencing the same thing now with Bush and 911? I'm referring to the mass of coincidences, unanswered questions, inconsistencies, etc.

1. They're using Hitler's playbook
They're following it closely, too:
1) Reichstag fire
2) Semitic "enemy of the people" (Arabs in the present case)
3) Bulshit wars against weaker opponent based on the concept of pre-emption (Poland), or securing resources (land, oil), or just keeping people focused away from the real problem
4) Lunatic installed as leader has a fawning press that presents him as decisive and intelligent
5) Secret arrests
6) Secret lists of potential "troublemakers"
7) Hurried passage of major rights-usurping legislation in wake of national disaster. Both times, the law is put in place for four years. In Germany, it was made permanent.
8) Vilification of liberals and others who can see through the bullshit
9) Claim that "God is with us"; constantly invoking the name or images of God
10) Reliance on public apathy or even tacit collusion to implement agenda
11) Pep rallies for the Fuehrer/Pretzeldent where no dissent is allowed
12) Transition from "elected" leader to dictator
13) Ineffective Parliament/Congress to restrain out-of-control leader

And that's just off the top of my head

2. Pretty good and pretty thorough for the top of your head.
Also, today the plans for the instigation of a police state, by putting all police from municipal, county and state under a centralized authority for the explicit purpose of apprehending enemies of the state. It won't be long before we have other camps besides Gitmo and that more than Arabs will be disappearing and not allowed lawyers and contact with their families, who many times don't know where they are.

7. Not long after 9/11 I was pounced on by a Rabid Freeper on
the DNC message board! The Freeper was pissed, because I was calling the Repub takeover what it really is, which is a repeat of the same old fascist bullshit of the 1930's and 40's! The little Freep got all hostile and starterd calling me names, so I opened up a new window with the text of the Fuehrer's playbook! I showed the Freeper point by point the things Bush is doing wrong to his country and then I cut and pasted the parts of Mein Kampf that called for the same things Bush is doing!

The Freeper started to scream bloody murder about me posting Quotes from that book, so the more he screamed the more airtight I made the case! I PMed the Mods and asked them to let the FReeper attack remain on the board as an example and they did so! I posted probably 25 times and every time the Freep would call me a motherf**ker or something like that, I'd show more parallels by quoting directly from Mein Kampf and then showing links to the things the Bushites are doing!

Finally the Rabid FReeper got so pissed he admitted he thought Bush was and is a Nazi, but then he said, "so what if Bush is a Nazi"! At that point I simply rested my case! I admit that I at times, was really pissed off during the exchange, but I made a total ass out of the FReeper and he knew it beyond the shadow of a doubt! It freaked him out so badly, that he came back under a new username next time and was far more humble and respectful ever after!

I knew what Bush was before he stole the election from Gore and I tried to warn the DNC, but my warning fell on deaf ears! Now they see that even if old Hubert is not the best speller in the world, he knew his shit about Hitler/Bush!

I tried to tell the DNC that if they loved their country, they had better fight fire with fire in 2000! The DNC and Al Gore cared more about apperances than they did protecting their country! The Democratic leaders didn't want to wallow in the mud with Bush in election 2000, because they felt it would make them LOOK bad! How bad does America LOOK now?

Wars are fought and won in the F??KING MUD! People in funeral homes LOOK GOOD after they are dead and all dressed up to show, but they are still dead! You're all going to end up in the mud sooner or later when it's time to go! This war between the voters and Bushco means too much, to worry about how we LOOK, Free America's future is at stake!

Here is where I went for Anti-Freep AMMO, but I've had a copy of the book for 30 years!

Don't know. I'm just adding words to support your intelligent discussion here. Words. Not intelligence. I did read a book written in 1940 or so, by a journalist who was in Germany at the time. He was the one that first broadcast live reports to the US. Probably famous, damned if I can remember his name because I'd like to read it again. No revisionism there, although certainly filled with his own opinions. But I don't remember a mention of Mein Kampf. It seems lots of jingoism, then lots of despair and fear.

5. Someone posted a letter here
written before the end of WWII I think.

It was by a guy who was running for president as a Democrat. It warned of "American Facism" and it described how they would take over - pretty much exactly what has transpired since 1944. It was so eerie.

4. Mein Kampf was known and talked about
Most of the time, questions or criticism were met with a sort of disbelief that Hitler would really carry out the things discussed in MK. They were just such outrageous ideas that people dismissed it. In that regard there is a strong parallel to the PNAC plan and how most people view it.
