ever since last evening we've had rumbling, in patterns, like thunder, but
a regular, even beat. rooom....roooom....roooom.... here in minneapolis.

i assume it's something overhead flying, 9-11 fear associated. anybody know anything about it?

2. do you live in a major metro area?
after 9-11 they patrolled with jet fighters doing a figure-of-8 pattern between minneapolis and chicago... the rumble when they were overhead was really annoying. i'm assuming this is another kind of jet because the pattern is different.

3. alright, here it goes again. it kicked in this morning... i think bush is
trying to instill fear all over american major metro areas by using sonic booms from jets. the whole city is suffering from these subsonic thumps.

6. In watching the "moments of silence" I have noticed an inordinate
number of jets flying overhead. I would imagine that the skies are being monitored very closely today.

Feel safe.

8. There were fireworks at Bush Lake in Bloomington
(about 10 miles SW of downtown) from about 8:30-9:30. Lots of loud stuff. I'll bet that was what you heard. And there was a little thunder overnight.

I cannot even guess what the event was. It was an impressive show.

9. I heard on the news this AM that there is some sort of
fireworks producers convention. They'll be doing a show tomorrow night too.

11. Uh, the pattern didn't happen to be about 85 beats per minute, did it?
I was testing out my new speakers last night. Sorry I didn't warn you guys first.

12. Night Dove here
My Aunt is up during the morning and she is sensitive to noises and she heard it too. Said it was nothing she has ever heard before (she's over 65). We live near the State Fairgrounds in St Paul.
