Help! I need a reality check from New Yorkers, especially!
Gentle folks, since this is THAT day, and apparently Ed Koch has just sounded off in a pro-bush blather, I really would appreciate knowing how you guys feel.

Is there really some anger out there toward the bushies? Is New York among the "coalition of the awakened?" Is this what you're hearing/feeling/seeing on the streets? Or are we still an enlightened few?

Sorry, but I do not care to join in being "led in prayer" by The First Dog-Dropper. (Or would that be The First Dog Dropping?) I'd rather pray with you guys.

That's probably what's making him twisted in the haid. That and limelight withdrawal.

3. I live in NY
and in my opinion NYers are very angry with Bush about Iraq and the economy and have serious doubts about Bush and 9/11. This coming from people who voted for the chimp. I think Bloomberg knows it too and that is why Cheney was asked not to come to the WTC area today.

7. I really have to thank Bloomberg for that
Disinviting Dick is the best thing he's ever done as mayor.

I walked downtown this morning and stood with the crowd near the site. It was not jingoistic. Just sad.

8. You know, it just occurred to me to wonder
why ter fuck did CNN book Koch to mouth off on 9-11? Who's the genius over there who came up with that bright idea?

6. BushCo will NOT be welcome in NYC

if not for ALL his other crimes, then for his refusal to hold an open investigation--WITH CONSEQUENCES--for the 9/11 attacks.

remember:

WHO actually benefitted from 9/11 ???
WHO "hit the Trifecta" ???
WHO had "a fabulous year" ???

and WHO is blocking any attempt to know the truth about that day ???

answer: the same criminals that made sure their Saudi buddies escaped without being questioned about 9/11

9. Thanks for the responses, guys!
Living out here in So Cal, coping with the Ahnold crap, it's a little dizzying. I know how I feel, but was curious about you guys. I'm glad so many New Yorkers see with clear eyes.

My prayers are with YOU, not the bushies, today.

11. Koch
Is one of thee mostliberal Mayors New York EVER had. I ived through Lindsays adn Koch's mayoralities in NY, and IF Koch has come out against Dean, Dean's campaign is heading for a long slide down.
