Daily U.S. Casualties 9/11/2003
Daily U.S. Casualties 9/11/2003

As of Wednesday, 290 U.S. soldiers have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq, according to the Department of Defense.

The British military has reported 49 deaths. Denmark's military has reported one death.

On or since May 1, when President Bush declared that major combat operations in Iraq had ended, 152 U.S. soldiers have died in Iraq, according to the latest Defense Department figures.

The latest casualties reported by the U.S. military:

In west Baghdad, a soldier from the 1st Armored Division was killed Wednesday trying to detonate a roadside bomb.

A soldier was killed Tuesday when a homemade bomb exploded near a military vehicle on a supply route northeast of Baghdad.
The latest identifications reported by the U.S. military:

Army Spc. Jarrett B. Thompson, 27, of Dover, Del., died Sunday in Washington, D.C., of injuries from an Aug. 30 vehicle accident in Iraq; assigned to the 946th Transportation Company, Army Reserve, Lewes, Del.

1. Thank God, they seem to be easing.
Accidents happen. that's what goes on when you are moving so many men and machines in a small area. It is no less of a loss, but there are plenty of soldiers who die in the US on a weekly basis due to accidents.

I am thankful, however, that there have been fewer combat deaths over the last 10 days. Those could have been avoided and shouldn't have happened.

3. It is bad enough the hundreds have died, but have you considered
these soldiers don't walk alone...they are in a company of men and when they are attacked the company is attacked.

What is the injured count? Bush and Cheny have it classified.

Washington Post reported last week that it is 10,000 Troops!
That was last week. Planes fly into America nightly to offload the injured and Walter Reed can't take them, it is full of wounded, they are being put up in gov't subsidized hotels.

We have murdered tens of thousands of Iraqi's and Bush is responsible for the deaths and injuries to America's finest.

ALL ON A LIE!

When does impeachment proceedings begin?

5. I think it was the Costa Mesa City Council that sent a petition
to congress to investigate whether the lies bush told leading up to and during the Iraq Invasion amount to impeachable acts.
