Opinions, please - do we have the new product roll-out?
There's been a number of scary reports coming out of the mighty wurlitzer. The Osama tape for one, and the story in the morning paper (LA TImes is where I saw it) to the effect that Al-Qaeda is still around, badder than ever. Is this our long anticipated fall product?

3. One terrorism expert says the Osama tape...
...is a re-edit of old material.

See the thread in LBN I think.

4. Complementarywise, I wonder what late Friday's data dump will contain.
I think they've probably got a few unmentionables they'd like to ease out under low or distracted coverage.

5. I have to think another terrorist attack would hurt more than help bush*
but that doesn't mean we couldn't get nailed independently of His Highness's best laid plans. Afterall, he has pissed off most of the rest of the world and basically called for a "Crusade" against the Muslim world.

6. He must know he's a one-term pResident
Otherwise, why would he be pushing all the blatantly nasty stuff so hard? The end of overtime, the clear-cutting of forests, injecting strong acids and carcinogens into oil wells, and Crisco Johnny's VICTORY (sic(k)) Act... the mind reels.

7. Al Qaeda badder than ever.
But we have them on the run and have defeated most of their leaders. How could this be? Has Bush* lied to us yet again? If they are badder than ever what did we do in Afghanistan? What are we doing there now? Oh I remember Oil Pipeline
